Attorney Lindell Choat and his wife Mary Jane were flanked by their
attorneys Wednesday as they claimed their innocence to felony charges.
The charges stem from a keg party at Kentucky Dam Village State Park
in February.
The Choats are charged with covering up an attempted rape that
happened that night, and are charged with providing alcohol to minors.
A 19 year old Princeton man is charged with the attempted rape.
On Wednesday defense attorney Mark Bryant said, "Mr. and Mrs. Choat
will plead not guilty to all charges in this case. We'll ask for and
demand a speedy trial as soon as possible."
The Choats will enter their not guilty plea in court Thursday morning
in Marshall County.
