Some 68 years after V-J Day in the Pacific, the remains of two long-missing WW II airmen whose plane struck a mountainside in New Guinea in 1944 will be buried in Arlington National cemetery. Remains identified as belonging to Sgt. Dominick Licari and U.S. Army Air Force 2nd Lt. Valorie L. Pollard were found in a remote area of New Guinea earlier this year. Their remains will be buried together.
