The Washington Post has compiled a list of US corporations which are leaving or have left the US to take advantage of lower tax burden. While leaving the US, these firms still want your business. Congress is now reviewing US laws to make it more difficult for other firms to use what are called “inversions” to play a tax shelter game. Among some of the more familiar names: Fruit of the Loom, Seagate Technologies, Ingersoll-Rand and Chiquita Brands.
