Following a career in private business and non-profit service, Joe spent four years teaching at Christian Fellowship High School. Joe joined the Bryant Law Center in 2009 after graduating from the Southern Illinois University School of Law. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Centre College in 1998. Joe has been admitted to practice in all state courts in Kentucky and Illinois as well as the United States District Court of Western District of Kentucky, and the United States District Court of Eastern District of Kentucky.
Joe manages the Bryant Law Center’s family law practice representing clients in custody, visitation, property settlement, parental rights, and divorce cases. His experience has spanned cases involving multimillion dollar marital estates to pro bono uncontested divorces and domestic violence cases for indigent clients. He regularly practices in all the counties of Western Kentucky and has built a strong reputation among the Judges before whom he practices for the ethical and vigorous representation of his clients. In addition to his work in the family and domestic field, Joe has worked on complex litigation for the Bryant Law Center including cases against Google, Facebook, Bayer and works on all other mass tort cases.
Among the honors he received in law school was The Best Oral Argument Award in the Midwest Moot Court Competition and Joe was selected by the faculty for membership in the Order of Barristers.
Joe is married to and practices with his wife, Emily. A lifelong fan of the Ohio State University football program, Joe usually takes in a Buckeye game or two each fall. He and his wife Emily and their son attend St. Thomas More where they volunteer in the children’s liturgy. They are also active volunteers as St. Mary where they enjoy working with their friends and family to provide a strong educational environment for their son.
