William F. McMurry was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville and graduated from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1978. Throughout his distinguished legal career, Mr. McMurry has practiced law in Kentucky and Florida and has served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.
With more than 40 years of legal experience, William McMurry is recognized as one of Kentucky’s most experienced courtroom attorneys. Known as an old-school trial lawyer who believes in doing the right thing for the right reasons, he has built a reputation as a tireless advocate and a champion for those seeking justice.
For several years, Mr. McMurry has proudly served as Of Counsel with Bryant Law Center, remaining committed to helping clients throughout Paducah and Kentucky obtain the justice and compensation they deserve.
Mr. McMurry is the only attorney in Kentucky who is Board Certified as both a Legal Malpractice and Medical Malpractice Trial Specialist, and he is also board certified in these specialties in North Carolina and Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, a distinction recognizing exceptional knowledge, skill, and experience in complex professional liability litigation.
