Roblox Sexual Abuse Lawsuits

Bryant Law Center: Standing Up for Children and Families

Online games like Roblox are meant to be safe, creative spaces for kids. But for too many families, these platforms have become a gateway for predators to target, groom, and harm children. If your child was groomed, pressured, or abused by someone they met on Roblox, you’re not alone, and you have the right to take action.

The Bryant Law Center is one of the first firms in the country to file a lawsuit against Roblox related to these abuses. We are committed to helping families seek justice and hold companies accountable for failing to protect children. Our legal team offers nationwide representation for victims of online sexual abuse connected to Roblox.

How Roblox Abuse Happens

Predators often use Roblox to:

  • Initiate contact with children through chat or private messaging.
  • Build trust through gifts, game items, or emotional manipulation.
  • Move conversations to private channels.
  • Pressure a child into sending explicit images or videos.
  • Arrange in-person meetings or escalate the abuse offline.

This pattern of manipulation is called grooming — the deliberate actions or behaviosr used to establish an emotional connection with a vulnerable person, in this case an adult to a child

The Case Against Roblox: What Parents Need to Know

In October 2025, Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman filed a major lawsuit against Roblox, calling the platform “a hunting ground for child predators.” Roblox is one of the world’s largest gaming and social platforms, with more than 380 million monthly users and nearly two-thirds of American children ages 9–12 playing on it. But despite its popularity, and the trust many parents place in it, the Attorney General argues that Roblox has allowed dangerous and harmful behavior to grow unchecked for years.

According to the lawsuit, Roblox (1) created an online space where predators and even international groups linked to terrorism could distribute child sexual abuse material; (2) became a tool for predators to target and groom children before escalating to real-world abuse; (3) failed to put in place meaningful safety measures despite clear evidence of these threats; and (4) intentionally failed to warn parents about the risks their children faced on the platform. The Attorney General is asking the court to permanently block Roblox from continuing this conduct in Kentucky and to impose penalties of up to $2,000 for each willful violation.

If your child has been harmed through Roblox or related platforms, our legal team is ready to stand with your family and fight for the justice you deserve.

Does your case qualify?

If you’re unsure whether your case qualifies, we can help you understand your options during a free and confidential consultation.

Taking Legal Action

If your family has a valid claim, you may be able to recover compensation to help support your child’s healing and long-term well-being. This can include the cost of counseling and mental health treatment, medical care, and other support services your child may require. Families may also seek compensation for emotional distress, trauma, school interruptions, and the long-lasting impacts this kind of abuse can leave behind. In some cases, punitive damages may be available to hold companies accountable when their failures put children at risk.

We know this is difficult to navigate, especially when you’re trying to protect and support your child at the same time. These cases are complex, but you don’t have to go through this alone.
