Represented Hundreds of Injured Workers Across Western Kentucky

Austin Kennady is a native of McCracken County. He grew up in the Heath community and is a 2007 honors graduate of Heath High School. Austin graduated from the University of Kentucky cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2011. While at UK, Austin participated in the Student Government Association, Sigma Chi Fraternity where he served as treasurer of their charity event, and worked as treasurer for a student investment group. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2014.

He joined the Bryant Law Center P.S.C. in 2014. His primary practice areas include workers’ compensation and personal injury. Austin and his legal assistant, Shauna Dollins, head the Bryant Law Center’s workers’ compensation department, taking pride in their advocacy for hundreds of injured workers they have represented across western Kentucky.

Austin’s interest in law began in high school when he worked part-time for a local law firm. He then clerked with the Bryant Law Center P.S.C. from 2012 to 2014 while in law school. As a law clerk at the Bryant Law Center P.S.C., Austin worked on numerous criminal cases, workers’ compensation cases, and train derailment lawsuits across the country.

He is licensed in Missouri and Kentucky and is admitted to practice in Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Austin is a Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Association, member of the Kentucky Justice Association, and member of the McCracken County Bar Association. He is also a proud alum of Leadership Paducah Class #29. In 2022, Austin was the winner of the American Cancer Society’s charity event, Dancing with Our Stars, and personally raised over $50,000.

In 2023, Austin earned the distinction of being named a Kentucky “Rising Star” by the prestigious Super Lawyers Magazine, a publication with over thirteen million readers across all fifty states, Washington D.C., and the UK. Only 2.5% of all eligible attorneys in Kentucky earn the Rising Star distinction. Notably, he is also a member of the exclusive Million Dollar Advocates Forum, reserved for trial lawyers who have achieved remarkable verdicts, awards, or settlements exceeding one million dollars.

On a personal note, Austin and his wife, Lauren, a pharmacist, live in Paducah along with their miniature dachshund, Scarlett. He is an avid golfer and diehard fan of UK athletics and the St. Louis Cardinals.
